USD3 is a stablecoin created on the Reserve Protocol, designed to earn yield on top of the US dollar-pegged stablecoins. It is backed by a basket of other staked stablecoins, i.e., various variants of staked USDC and DAI strategies. The governance of USD3 is managed by RSR (Reserve Rights) stakers, who play a role in overseeing the protocol.
